DESCRIPTION:On eight Wednesdays in July and August\, the Square invites you to join us from 12:00-1:00 for a free wellness-based activity. This wellness series starts July 10th and runs through August 28th with a different free activity each week! Spending just one hour a week focusing on wellness and self care has been shown to improve long term health and quality of life. So take a break and visit the square each Wednesday to recharge and practice self-care in Portland’s living room! \nHeartBeat Silent Disco will be at the Square from 12:00-1:00 leading a FREE silent disco for community members! They are committed to community building through music and dance across the world. With the ability to run up to three channels of music simultaneously through their provided headphones\, Heartbeat Silent Disco allows people from multiple communities to come together as one and find common ground through music. Their equipment has a quarter mile range and personal volume control; leaving you and your friends with a fun and interactive experience for the whole family. This all-inclusive dance community inspires a connection through a shared love of music and reminds us that we are all connected through our heartbeats.
