DESCRIPTION:John Nilsen & Swimfish will be performing at Noon Tunes over the lunch hour! \nIt’s sometimes surprising when a band writes some of its own material. SWIMFISH is a colorful band featuring high quality\, original folk/rock music. The line up is bass\, drums\, guitar\, piano\, mandolin\, harmonica & vocals\, but their focus lies in first class songwriting. \nThe debut CD by SWIMFISH\, John Nilsen & SWIMFISH\, was played throughout the USA on radio to positive reviews. John Nilsen & SWIMFISH released\, Two Stories\, their 4th CD in Dec. 2022. \nThe Noon Tunes Summer Concert Series returns for its 31st year on Tuesdays throughout June and July! From noon-1:00pm enjoy music from some of Portland’s best regional and local musical talent. With seven FREE concerts\, dancing\, and some of Portland’s favorite food vendors at Carts on the Square\, Portland’s Living Room is sure to be Downtown’s summer lunchtime destination.
