Bittersweet angst and optimism weave through Katelyn Convery’s music, piercing the frontier of modern alt-rock, and harkening back to the edgy era of 90s NW grunge, with textures characteristic of early 2000s indie-pop. Alluring melodies, compelling arrangements, and perceptive, unapologetic lyrics land as a ferocious, buttery roar. The result is something altogether timeless and new, and getting noticed. Katelyn’s music has been recognized on the 2021 and 2023 PDX Pop Now Compilation Albums and her commanding live performance and powerful vocal presence continues to attract fans across the region.
The Noon Tunes Summer Concert Series returns for its 32nd year and expands to Tuesdays and Thursdays June 4 – July 30! From Noon-1:00pm enjoy music from some of Portland’s best regional and local musical talent. With 16 FREE concerts, dancing, painting at Art in The Park and some of Portland’s favorite food vendors at Carts on the Square, The Square is sure to be Downtown’s summer lunchtime destination.
