Expressions: A Celebration of Drag and Transgender Rights

The Trans and Drag Initiative, in partnership with Mx. Dahlia Belle, Portland Queer Caucus, Demand Drag, and Klip Klop Productions, invite you to a community Drag Show in Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square on April 29th. This event is free to attend as we are raising awareness of the heightened attacks on our Drag and Trans performers with the hundreds of anti-LGBTQ legislation introduced or passed all over this country.
‘Expressions: A Celebration of Drag and Transgender Rights’ kicks off with over 15+ performers and speakers in “Portlands Living Room” from 1pm to 3pm. Not only will we be celebrating drag and trans freedoms, we will be raising money for ‘OutMemphis’ a 501c non-profit based in Memphis, Tennessee who provides programing and support to their local LGBTQ communities. This is a Portland opportunity for our community to help those in Tennessee with funds for more resources, to provide more on the ground support during these times where it’s needed most.
